At Rapidtags, we respect you and your privacy. We understand the importance of privacy on the web and strive to keep users safe when using our services.

1. What Information do we Collect?

Free users of the Rapidtags Service can browse and, in some cases, interact with tools/features without creating an account or providing personal information; However, to make the most of the Service, you must provide certain pieces of information such as:

Account Creation

To create or edit an account on the Service, Rapidtags requests that you provide certain pieces of personal information such as your name, email address and password. Without providing your name, email address and password, you will not be able to access Rapidtags accounts and, as a result, additional tools and features.

Communications with Rapidtags

When you request information about the Service, register for our newsletter or otherwise communicate with us for any reason, Rapidtags may collect personal information such as your email address, phone number or mailing address along with contents of messages and attachments. Doing so will help us improve our communication efforts and improve the user experience.

Payment Information

When you upgrade your account with a Rapidtags Plus Subscription, we will collect payment information for the transaction. We use third-party payment providers such as PayPal, Stripe, BitPay, and Apple Pay and Google Pay for mobile users to handle payment processing. Therefore, we do not store payment information directly on the Service. We recommend that you take the time to read through the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of your payment processor of choice (can be found in the Disclosing information to third parties section. The payment providers may provide information associated with your payment information, such as your billing address and transaction information.

Surveys/Forms

To help improve the Service, you can fill in and submit surveys/forms to notify the Rapidtags team about any feedback or suggestions you think would improve your experience. The information that you provide will be collected, such as your feedback or suggestion and contact information such as your email address.

Interactive Features

We may post written content on our blog to provide information on efficiently using the Service, updates to the Service and general industry news. These pages may feature publicly displayed sections for users to leave comments. We and others who use the Service may collect the information you submit or make available through these interactive features. Due to the nature of these sections being public, the content you post is not subject to the privacy protections mentioned herein, and by using these features, you understand that the content you post may be viewed and used by third parties.

Registration for Sweepstakes, Contests and Giveaways

From time to time, we may host sweepstakes, contests and giveaways as a fun way to give back to the community and promote interaction with the Rapidtags Service, social media and communication platforms. In doing so, the contact information you provide may be used to inform you about the sweepstake, contest or giveaway and for other promotional, marketing and business purposes. In the event of a physical prize, a home/delivery address will need to be provided.

Job Applications

From time to time, Rapidtags may post job openings and opportunities on the Service and social media. Suppose you are interested and decide to submit your portfolio, job application, CV and/or cover letter. In that case, we will collect and use the provided information to assess your qualifications and make an informed decision.

Cookies

Rapidtags uses cookies to both improve and keep the Service functioning as intended. Please review our cookie policy ("Cookie Policy") to learn more about what a cookie is, how Rapidtags uses them, why we use them and how stopping or restricting cookie usage will affect the user experience.

Social Media

Throughout the Service, you may find links to third-party websites and services such as social media. If you access or interact with the Service through a third-party application such as social media, we may read, collect or use information based on your social media privacy settings. The information collected may be used to log suggestions and concerns regarding the Service, learn more about our target market and produce testimonials for the promotion of the Service.

Information Provided by Third Parties Google

For the use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, Rapidtags fully complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements, ensuring that user data obtained through Google's OAuth is only used for the purposes explicitly authorized by the user.

YouTube

You may link your YouTube channel to your Rapidtags account to provide a more personalised experience as a registered member. Rapidtags may collect some data about your YouTube channel as permitted by YouTube's Terms of Service if you provide authorisation. By accessing YouTube content via our Service, you agree to be bound to YouTube's Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

2. Disclosing Information to Third Parties Communications

We use third-party communications platform providers to help us manage and send you both email and SMS messages in the form of a newsletter, account verification and ticket updates. Our current third-party of choice is Twilio SendGrid who operates out of the United States. Please review their Privacy Policy here: https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Analytics Providers

Rapidtags currently relies on Google Analytics and potentially other third-party analytics providers to collect, process and analyse information to help us understand how users engage with the Service. It is recommended that you review Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can learn how without negatively affecting your experience with the Service. https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Payment Processors

As mentioned, we rely on third-party payment processors to process your Personal Information for you to purchase a Rapidtags Subscription. These payment processors may use your provided Personal Information for their purposes in accordance with their Privacy Policies.

Business Transfers

In the event that Rapidtags is involved in a business transfer, ownership restructures, acquisition, merger, bankruptcy, partnership or asset sale, some or all of your Personal Information may be shared with or transferred to another entity, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Legal Requirements

We reserve the right to access, preserve and disclose any information collected via the Service for any lawful purpose or prevent harm to us or others.

3. Your Choices Providing Personal Information

You are under no obligation and can always decline to provide your Personal Information. Registering for a Rapidtags account or otherwise providing Personal Information is not required to access some of our content; however, if you choose not to provide certain pieces of Personal Information, then some Rapidtags features may be unavailable or limited. A prime example of this is connecting your YouTube channel to your Rapidtags account. We cannot edit your videos and publish them directly to your channel without your authorisation.

Electronic Information

If you receive an unwanted marketing email from us at any point, you can use the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of the email to opt out of receiving marketing emails. It should be noted that you will still receive emails relating to your account, such as transactions and updates to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

"Do Not Track"

Certain web browsers provide a "Do Not Track" option to their users. Using this option will signal to websites that users do not want their online activity and behaviour tracked. In the case you have "Do Not Track" enabled, we will try to honour your request; however, we do not control the cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or other storage technology from third-party service providers, and therefore we cannot guarantee that the "Do Not Track" feature will work as intended.

4. Security

Rapidtags is committed to protecting you and your Personal Information and will take reasonable precautions to protect it. If a security breach occurs, Rapidtags may attempt to notify you and provide steps on how to protect your account further. The correspondence will take place through your provided email address or by posting a notice on the Service. With that said, you are responsible for maintaining your device security and not sharing your account password with anyone.

5. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Based on your location and applicable laws, you may have the right to access and request a copy of the personal information about you and an explanation as to how we use it and who we share it with. You possess the right to correct any inaccurate personal information, erase or outright withdraw consent to data processing at any time.

Rapidtags respects the California Shine the Light law, so if you're a California resident, you can request a list of third parties (if any) that we have sent your Personal Information for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. At our sole discretion, third party links may be displayed on the Service, however clicking and using those third-party websites, products and services are not governed by this privacy policy. Instead, it falls under the privacy policy of that third party, and we encourage that you review the privacy policies for each website, product or service that you interact with. Therefore at no point are we liable for the content and activities of these linked sites. If you are concerned about the safety and security of a third party link, we welcome your feedback to maintain our integrity and provide a safe experience for the Service users.

8. Children Under 13 (COPPA)

The Rapidtags Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under the age limit, please do not use the Rapidtags Service. If we learn that the personal data of a child has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

9. Document Changes

Rapidtags reserves the right at our sole discretion to change/update the information provided within this Privacy Policy. Rapidtags will notify you about these changes either by sending a notification to your registered account and/or by posting the updated/revised Privacy Policy to our Service. We will send the information to your most recently provided email address after extreme modifications to the document. Your continued use of the Service after the Effective Date provided at the top of this page will constitute your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
